1. Subject content and scope of application
This regulation stipulates the technical requirements and management rules for the main forest cutting, forest harvesting, reforestation, low-yield forest rebuilding, and land reforestation.
This regulation is applicable to all types of forest harvesting and reforestation of state-owned forest farms, and other state-owned forests, collective forests, and joint ventures of the state and the collective;

3. Forest main cutting
3.1 According to the business plan, the timber forest that has matured or achieved the business purpose is harvested.
3.2 The main cutting of the main tree species in timber forests must be summarized in Tables 1 and 2.
3.3 The main cutting of poplar is carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of DB/3700 B66001. The logging of targeted cultivation forests, joint venture joint forests, firewood forests and economic forests shall be carried out in accordance with relevant regulations.
3.4 The main cutting method adopts three types: clear cutting, selective cutting and progressive cutting.
